Coliving in Prague
Long-term coliving in Prague for expats, young professionals and researchers
Rezidence Kandertova offers long-term coliving in Prague for people staying six months, a year or longer: a brand-new private studio in Prague 8 – Libeň with its own kitchenette, bathroom, desk and fibre internet up to 2 Gb/s. A single studio costs €980 a month (Type 02: €1,090) in euro with all bills included, we register you with the foreign police at move-in, and Karlín is about 13–16 minutes away by direct tram.
Long-term coliving in Prague: who it suits
Search for co-living in Prague and you will mostly find flexible, short stays. Ours is deliberately different: there are no stays under six months, so your neighbours are settling in for a contract, a degree or a few years rather than passing through.
The house suits expats starting a job in Prague, young professionals who want a place of their own without utility contracts, PhD students and visiting researchers on fixed-term stays, and remote workers who need a reliable desk and connection.
Coliving for working professionals: a single studio as your home office
Type 01 has 20 m² with a 12.8 m² living room and kitchenette; Type 02 has 27.5 m² with 19.8 m² – more room for working from home, but there are only five of them. Every studio has a desk and chair and fibre internet up to 2 Gb/s included in the rent, and triple glazing with 39 dB sound insulation keeps street noise down.
A shared 20 m² workspace is in preparation, along with a lounge, a yoga studio and a PlayStation area; until they open, your own desk is your office. The laundry room, storage room with lockable boxes and lift are already in the house.

Paperwork for a longer stay in Czechia
At handover we register you with the foreign police, so there is nothing to arrange on arrival. For a visa or residence permit we issue a free official confirmation of accommodation in Czech and English within five working days once the lease is signed; if your visa is delayed, you can move your start date once, free of charge, by up to two months. Fourteen days before move-in you upload proof of work or study and liability insurance.
One euro price, extensions possible
Rent is one fixed figure in euro covering water, heating, electricity, waste and internet, with no year-end settlement. The €1,000 deposit is paid as a €200 reservation within 5 days of signing the reservation agreement and €800 with the lease by 15 November 2026 (later bookings: within 7 days of receiving the lease); it is returned within 30 days after you move out. Contracts start on the 1st or 15th, run from six months and can be extended.

Frequently asked questions
What is the minimum stay?
Six months. Contracts start on the 1st or 15th of a month and can be extended; we do not offer monthly or other short stays.
Do I need to be a student?
No. Instead of proof of study you upload proof of work 14 days before move-in, together with your liability insurance.
What if my visa is delayed or refused?
If it is delayed, you can move your start date once, free of charge, by up to two months. A refused visa is not a reason for a refund – the €200 reservation is kept.
Is the shared workspace open?
Not yet – the workspace, like the lounge and yoga studio, is in preparation. Every studio has its own desk and fibre internet up to 2 Gb/s.
Your own studio for the long run
Apply for a single studio in about three minutes – free. When your €200 reservation arrives, a real person assigns you a specific studio and sends the lease, usually within one working day.
