Coliving in Prague
Coliving in Prague: your own studio first, community spaces on the way
Rezidence Kandertova is coliving in Prague 8 – Libeň: 52 brand-new private studios, each with its own kitchenette and bathroom, rented for six months or longer at one euro price that includes all bills and fibre internet. A twin place starts at €570 per person and a single studio at €980 a month. A laundry room, storage boxes and a lift are in the house; a lounge, workspace, yoga studio and PlayStation area are in preparation.
What coliving in Prague usually means
Type co-living Prague into a search engine and you will see the word used loosely, so it is worth being precise. Coliving usually combines four things: a private, furnished unit; shared spaces where residents meet, work or relax; one simple all-inclusive rent instead of a lease plus separate utility contracts; and terms that are easier to start than a classic tenancy, often for people arriving from abroad.
It is not a hostel, where you pay per night and share a dorm, and it is not a shared flat, where the kitchen and bathroom belong to everyone. The private part should be a real home; the community is what comes on top.
The private part: a full studio, not a bed
At Kandertova the private unit is a whole studio. Type 01 has 20 m² with a 12.8 m² living room and kitchenette; Type 02 has 27.5 m² with 19.8 m². Each has a fitted kitchen with hob and fridge, a private bathroom with rain shower, built-in wardrobes, and a bed, desk and chair for each resident.
You can live alone in a single studio or share a twin studio with one other person – a friend you book with, or a flatmate we match you with, same gender by default. Either way, nobody outside your studio uses your kitchen or shower.

Frequently asked questions
What does coliving mean?
Coliving means renting a private, furnished home in a house with shared spaces and one all-inclusive rent. It is not a hostel: the minimum stay is six months, with no nightly or weekly rentals.
Is it coliving if I live alone?
Yes. The single studio is yours alone, and you share only the house: the laundry room and lift now, later the lounge, workspace and other shared spaces, which are in preparation.
When will the shared spaces open?
The lounge, workspace, yoga studio and PlayStation area are in preparation for the house opening, which is tentatively from 1 December 2026. Ask us for the current status.
Can I choose my flatmate?
Yes. Book a twin studio together with a friend, or ask us to match you – same gender by default, similar age and, where possible, a similar programme. You meet before you sign.
Is everything really included in the rent?
All bills are: water, heating, electricity, waste and fibre internet up to 2 Gb/s, for normal residential use. There are no extra utility bills, no year-end settlement and no micro-payments.
