A twin studio for students in Prague, shared with a friend
A place in a twin studio at Rezidence Kandertova in Prague 8 – Libeň costs €570 (13 900 Kč) per person a month in Type 01 and €670 (16 400 Kč) in Type 02, with water, heating, electricity, waste and fibre internet included. It works like a twin room for students in Prague, shared with a friend you book with or a flatmate we match you with – except that the studio's bathroom and kitchenette are used by the two of you only.
How a twin studio works
A twin studio is one studio for two residents. You share the room, the kitchenette and the bathroom – but only with each other. Nobody else uses your shower, and there is no corridor kitchen to queue for.
The price is per person, so in a Type 01 twin studio each of you pays €570 a month and that already covers every bill, including fibre internet up to 2 Gb/s. There is no year-end settlement to split and no utility bill to divide between you.
Sharing a room with a friend – or with a matched flatmate
Applying together? Mention your friend in the application and we keep you together in one studio. On move-in day you can book the same slot and arrive together.
Coming on your own? Ask us to find you a flatmate. We match residents of the same gender by default, of similar age and, where possible, on a similar programme. You meet before you sign, so you know who you will live with long before you get the keys.

What each resident gets
Every resident has their own bed with a mattress, a desk and a chair. The studio has built-in wardrobes, a fitted SIKO Naturel kitchen unit with hob, fridge, sink and extractor hood, and a private 2.8 m² bathroom with a thermostatic rain shower and LED mirror cabinet – all new from the 2022–2026 reconstruction.
In the house there is a laundry room with washers and dryers, a storage room with lockable boxes for suitcases and things you rarely need, and a lift. Bring your own bedding and personal things.
Type 01 or Type 02: choosing your twin studio
Both types have the same bathroom and kitchen standard; the difference is the living space you share.

- Type 02 – 27.5 m²: hall 3.0 m², bathroom 2.8 m², living room with kitchenette 19.8 m² · €670 per person · only 5 studios in the house, one per floor, so availability is limited
- For €100 more each a month, Type 02 gives the two of you 7 m² of extra living room
- Type 01 suits pairs who study mostly at the faculty or library and want the lowest price

Deposit, reservation and availability
The deposit is €1,000 per twin place – the same as for a single studio – and is refunded within 30 days after you move out. €200 of it is paid by bank transfer as the reservation within 5 days of signing a short reservation agreement online – it is part of the deposit, not a fee. The remaining €800 is due when you sign the lease, by 15 November 2026 (for later bookings, within 7 days of receiving the lease), and your first month's rent 14 days before move-in.
Twin studios are currently offered on the 2nd floor. Move-in is tentatively planned from 1 December 2026; the exact date is confirmed in writing after the occupancy permit, and no rent is charged before that.
Frequently asked questions
I don't have anyone to share with. Can I still book a twin place?
Yes. Say so in the application and we match you with another resident – same gender by default, similar age and, where possible, a similar programme. You meet before you sign.
Can a mixed-gender pair share a twin studio?
We match residents of the same gender by default. If you want to share with someone of a different gender, please ask us before you apply.
What happens if my flatmate leaves?
Please ask us – we will explain how this is handled under your contract before you sign.
Do we each pay a deposit?
Yes. The deposit is €1,000 per twin place, so each resident pays their own, starting with the €200 reservation.
