Studio for rent in Libeň: a brand-new home next to Pod Korábem park
Rezidence Kandertova has brand-new furnished studios for rent in Libeň, Prague 8 – two minutes on foot from Pod Korábem park and five from the U Kříže tram stop. Contracts run from 6 months; move-in is tentatively from 1 December 2026.
Living in Libeň: the neighbourhood on foot
The easiest way to get to know Libeň is to walk it from the front door. Pod Korábem park starts 50 metres from the house and leads down to the Vltava; the Koráb sports centre, Thomayerovy sady and the DOCK complex are all within a quarter of an hour on foot. Palmovka, with metro line B and everyday shopping, is a short tram ride away.

A Libeň house rebuilt from the inside out
This is not an old flat with a fresh coat of paint. Between 2022 and 2026 the building was completely reconstructed – wiring, plumbing, bathrooms, kitchens, windows, floors, doors, lift and boiler room are all new. You are the first person to live in your studio.
Insulation, triple glazing with 39 dB sound insulation and the new boiler room put the house in energy class PENB B. Motorised external aluminium blinds keep summer heat out and reduce street noise, a central filter softens the water, and there is a laundry room and a storage room with private lockable boxes.

Studio for rent in Libeň: two furnished types, measured to the metre
Type 01 (47 studios) has 20.0 m²: a 3.1 m² hall, a 2.8 m² private bathroom and a 12.8 m² living room with kitchenette. Type 02 has 27.5 m²: a 3.0 m² hall, the same bathroom and a 19.8 m² living room with kitchenette – only five in the house, one per floor.
Both are furnished: a bed with mattress, a desk and a chair for each resident, built-in wardrobes and a fitted SIKO Naturel kitchen unit with hob, fridge, sink and extractor hood – bring only bedding and personal things. Who the studios are for
The house is designed for students, expats and young professionals. AMBIS students walk to lectures in three minutes; VŠE, ČVUT and Charles University are about 25–45 minutes by public transport, depending on the faculty. Newcomers to Prague get one fixed price in euro, an English-speaking team and foreign police registration at move-in, with Karlín's offices about 15 minutes away. All bills included vs a typical Libeň rental
With a typical Prague rental the advertised rent is only part of the cost: tenants usually pay energy and service advances on top, arrange their own internet and face a year-end settlement. At Kandertova the monthly price already includes water, heating, electricity, waste and fibre internet up to 2 Gb/s, with no year-end settlement (normal residential use).
There are no admin, service or commission fees and no micro-payments. The deposit is €1,000 per studio – €200 of it paid as the reservation after you sign the reservation agreement – and is refunded within 30 days after you move out.

Frequently asked questions
Is this a long-term rental?
Yes. Contracts start at 6 months and can be extended, beginning on the 1st or 15th of a month. Short-term stays are not offered.
Can I rent a studio in Libeň if I'm not a student?
Yes. Expats and young professionals are welcome – instead of proof of study you upload proof of work 14 days before move-in, together with liability insurance.
What energy class is the building?
PENB class B, thanks to new insulation, triple glazing and a new boiler room. Energy costs are included in your monthly price in any case.
