Rezidence Kandertova is 174 m – about 3 minutes on foot – from AMBIS University on Lindnerova in Prague 8 – Libeň. The studios are brand-new, each with its own kitchenette and bathroom: a place in a twin studio costs €570 per person a month and a single studio €980, with all bills and fibre internet up to 2 Gb/s included. Move-in is tentatively from 1 December 2026.
From your front door to the lecture hall in 3 minutes
Student housing in Prague is often a trade-off between price and commute. For AMBIS students, Rezidence Kandertova takes the commute almost out of the equation: the Lindnerova campus is 174 m away, about a three-minute walk – no tram timetable on exam mornings.
You can leave ten minutes before your first class, walk home in a long break to cook lunch in your own kitchenette and be back for the afternoon lecture.
Student housing near AMBIS: what your money gets you
Every studio has its own kitchenette and bathroom. Choose a place in a twin studio with one flatmate, or a single studio just for you. You pay one fixed monthly price in euro, the contract currency; koruna figures are indicative.

The neighbourhood around the Lindnerova campus
The house stands right next to Pod Korábem park, and in about seven minutes through the park you reach the Vltava embankment. The U Kříže tram stop with trams 3 and 24 is five minutes from the door and the Praha-Libeň U Kříže train stop three.
Palmovka, with metro line B and shops, is about 9–11 minutes by public transport or five by bike. Karlín, with its cafés, restaurants and riverside, is about 13–16 minutes by tram – close enough for an evening out.
Sharing a twin studio with a classmate
If you and a friend from your study group both want to live next to AMBIS, apply together and tell us – we keep you in the same twin studio. Each of you has your own bed, desk and chair, and you share the kitchenette and bathroom with one person, not a whole floor.
Applying on your own? We can match you with a flatmate – by default of the same gender, a similar age and, where possible, a similar field of study – and introduce you before move-in. Twin studios are currently offered on the 2nd floor, single studios on the 5th.
Timing your move around the academic year
Move-in is planned tentatively from 1 December 2026; the exact date is confirmed in writing after the occupancy permit, and no rent is charged before that. Contracts run for at least six months and start on the 1st or 15th of a month, so you can line up your start with your semester.
The application takes about three minutes and is free; you will need your passport or ID number and a photo of it. You then sign a short reservation agreement and pay the €200 reservation, part of the €1,000 deposit, within 5 days; within one working day of payment we reserve a specific studio and send you the lease to sign online. You sign it and pay the remaining €800 of the deposit by 15 November 2026 (for later bookings, within 7 days of receiving the lease); fourteen days before move-in you pay the first month and upload proof of study and liability insurance.

Frequently asked questions
Can I really go home between classes?
Yes. AMBIS is 174 m from the house, about 3 minutes on foot, so even a short break is enough to get home and cook lunch in your own kitchenette.
Is there a quiet place to study?
Every resident has their own desk and chair in the studio, and insulating triple glazing (39 dB) keeps outside noise down. A shared workspace for the house is in preparation.
Can two AMBIS friends book one twin studio?
Yes. Apply together or mention your friend in the application and we keep you in the same twin studio – €570 each a month in Type 01, all bills included.
Do I need proof that I study at AMBIS?
Not when you apply – the application only asks for your passport or ID number and a photo of it. Fourteen days before move-in you upload proof of study (or work) together with your liability insurance.
