Coliving in Prague
Student coliving in Prague: your own studio instead of a dorm room
Student coliving in Prague at Rezidence Kandertova means a brand-new studio in Prague 8 – Libeň with its own kitchenette and bathroom: shared with one friend for €570 (13 900 Kč) per person a month, or all yours from €980, with every bill included. AMBIS University is a 3-minute walk away and VŠE about 28–33 minutes by public transport. Contracts run from 6 months.
Student coliving in Prague vs a dorm or a flatshare
Most students moving to Prague weigh up three options; the right one depends on how much privacy you need.
- Dorm (kolej): usually the cheapest; rooms are often shared, bathrooms and kitchens often shared on the floor, and the university allocates places.
- Flatshare: your own room, but everyone shares the kitchen and bathroom, and energy, internet and the year-end settlement are usually split.
- Student co-living at Kandertova: a whole studio whose kitchenette and bathroom are used by you alone, or by you and one flatmate – at one price that covers the bills.
Room to study: a desk, quiet and fast internet
Every resident has their own bed with a mattress, a desk and a chair. Fibre internet up to 2 Gb/s reaches every studio, insulating triple glazing (39 dB) keeps street noise out, and Pod Korábem park is 50 metres from the door.
Be honest about how you study: in a twin studio you share the room with one person, so if you need complete quiet, choose a single studio. A shared workspace is in preparation.

Frequently asked questions
Is six months too long for one semester?
Six months is the minimum, so choose a start date that lets the lease cover your semester and exams. For a full academic year, extend – tell us your dates.
What happens if my admission or visa is refused?
The €200 reservation is kept. The only full refund is if we cannot provide the accommodation because the occupancy permit has not been issued; if your visa is delayed, you can move your start date once for free, by up to 2 months.
Can I share a twin studio with a friend from my course?
Yes. Name each other in your applications and we keep you together; each of you has your own lease and deposit.
