One tram, no change: the route to Karlovo náměstí
Walk five minutes to U Kříže, take tram 3 or 24 and stay on – the ride to Karlovo náměstí takes about 23 minutes and the ČVUT building is about a minute from the stop. Door to door that is about 25–30 minutes. Alternatively, take the tram to Invalidovna and metro B to Karlovo náměstí; by bike it is roughly 25–30 minutes.
Your faculty is in the centre, but your home does not have to be. Flats in the New Town are usually more expensive and smaller per person, and student rooms there are often in shared flats. Here you get a whole new studio with its own kitchen and bathroom and a direct line to your lectures.
A day in the life: lab, lunch, Karlín
A morning lab on Charles Square, the tram home for a late lunch cooked in your own kitchenette, an afternoon of problem sets at your own desk. In the evening Karlín is about 13–16 minutes away by tram for dinner with friends, and Wenceslas Square is about 23–24 minutes door to door, again with no change, when you want the city centre.

Student accommodation near ČVUT that is quiet enough to study
Charles Square is a busy traffic junction in the middle of the New Town. Back in Libeň, the house stands next to Pod Korábem park, and every studio has insulating triple glazing with 39 dB sound insulation and external aluminium blinds.
Each resident has their own desk and chair, fibre internet up to 2 Gb/s is included, and a shared workspace in the house is in preparation. The building was completely reconstructed in 2022–2026 – new windows, wiring, floors and bathrooms – so you are the first to live in your studio.
Twin or single: which suits you
Both options include water, heating, electricity, waste and internet in one fixed monthly price in euro, with no admin, service or commission fees.

Sharing the neighbourhood: the First Faculty of Medicine
Charles Square is not only ČVUT territory. Students of Charles University's First Faculty of Medicine heading to Kateřinská use the same corridor: tram 3 or 24 to Karlovo náměstí and a short walk, or tram to Florenc and metro C to I. P.
