Student housing near the Faculty of Law: terms you can read like a contract
Rezidence Kandertova in Prague 8 – Libeň is about 27–31 minutes from the Charles University Faculty of Law at náměstí Curieových: tram 3 or 24 to Bílá labuť, then bus 207 to the Právnická fakulta stop, one minute from the door. Studios cost from €570 per person a month with all bills included, and the cancellation terms are set out in full before you sign.
Getting to náměstí Curieových
From the house it is a 5-minute walk to U Kříže. Tram 3 or 24 takes you to Bílá labuť, where bus 207 runs to the Právnická fakulta stop, a minute's walk from the faculty – about 27–31 minutes door to door. By bike allow roughly 20–25 minutes (an estimate). Old Town Square is about 32–35 minutes away for an evening in the centre.

Future lawyers rightly ask what happens when plans change. These are the cancellation rules as stated on our website:
- You do not pay the €200 reservation within 5 days: the reservation simply lapses and nothing is owed.
- You do not sign the lease by the deadline, withdraw, cancel before move-in, or do not arrive: the €200 reservation is kept.
- We cannot provide the accommodation because the occupancy permit (approval for use of the building) has not been issued: 100 % refund – the €200 reservation and everything you have paid. This is the only refund case; by booking you acknowledge that the building is under construction and being completed.
- Visa or university admission refused, or any other reason: no refund – the €200 reservation is kept.
- Visa delayed: you can move your start date once, free of charge, by up to 2 months.

How the online signing works
After your application you sign a short reservation agreement online by typing your name and pay the €200 reservation by bank transfer within 5 days. As soon as the payment arrives, a real person reserves a specific studio for you within 1 working day and sends you the lease. You read the key terms and the full lease, confirm with a code sent to your e-mail and sign on screen – no printing, no visit – and pay the remaining €800 of the deposit, both by 15 November 2026 (for later bookings, within 7 days of receiving the lease). Once it is signed by both sides, the booking is confirmed.
The website gives a summary; the reservation agreement and the lease you sign online are the binding documents.
The deposit, step by step
The deposit is €1,000 for every studio – the same for a twin place as for a single. €200 of it is paid as the reservation after you sign the reservation agreement; the remaining €800 is due by bank transfer when you sign the lease, by 15 November 2026 (for later bookings, within 7 days of receiving the lease), and your first month's rent 14 days before move-in. At handover we record the studio's condition and meter readings in a short protocol. After you move out, the deposit is refunded within 30 days. There are no admin, service or commission fees.
Student housing near Charles University Faculty of Law: quiet for exams
Codes, case law and long oral exams need a place where you can think aloud. Every studio has its own bathroom and kitchenette, a desk and chair for each resident, and triple glazing with 39 dB sound insulation. A single studio (€980 a month, currently on the 5th floor) means nobody else in the room; a twin place (€570, 2nd floor) suits a study partner. LLM and exchange students get a free visa letter in Czech and English and are registered with the foreign police at handover.

What happens if the opening date moves?
Move-in is tentatively planned from 1 December 2026. The exact date is confirmed in writing after the occupancy permit is issued, and no rent is charged before that. If we cannot provide the accommodation because the occupancy permit has not been issued, you get a full refund of the €200 reservation and everything you have paid.
Can I register my residence at the address?
Yes. The units are registered as accommodation units, which makes no practical difference for you – temporary or permanent residence can be registered as in any flat.
